Are you looking for fullfillment? Are you concerned about our communities, state, country? Are you seeking friendship and fun? Consider joining the Madeira Woman's Club, a chartered member of the largest and oldest woman's organization in the world. Any woman over the age of 18 is invited to contact any club member and learn how she can make a difference while enjoying life. GFWC Ohio and our club are supporting the Ronald McDonald House. Anyone can help our club by donating pop tabs which the House uses to recycle for financial help. We encourage everyone in our communities to support the Ronald McDonald House any time they have the opportunity. The project motto is "Turning Fries into Funds."
Mark you calendars now for a club basket raffle fundraiser at Ali's Bar and Grill on Friday November 6, 2026. Money raised helps the Joseph House veterans. Thank a veteran at any time.
New and current members filled decorated jars with candy to give sweet treats for the Madeira Middle School teachers and staff. Thank you to every teacher who work hard to help and educate our children. Afterwards, the project gave current members a chance to speak about our club with new members.

GFWC Ohio Southwest District Fall Conference
Club members attended the GFWC Ohio Southwest District Fall Conference. Three community projects were addressed. First, $1,400.00 across Ohio was raised to help victims of sexual assault with hospital kits. Second, our Split-the-Pot drawing was donated to Safesurfin, an organization that is working to protect people, especially children, on social media. Third, our program reflected our GFWC Ohio president's special emphasis - Mental and addiction help. It was a great and informative time.

Membership Chairman, Clare, installed two new members. Welcome Marie and Teresa. Our club celebrated Canines for Companions, an organization that provides trained service dogs for people with disabilities, with a dog photo shoot. Members entered their dog and granddogs. Congrats to first place winner, George, and second place winner Poppy. A club financial donation was contributed to Canines for Companions.
Madeira Mayor Tom Henning was the club's featured speaker at our annual Potluck Dinner. Members signed a Domestic Violence Prevention Pledge and took advantage of having their photo taken with Madeira officials. Welcome Alicia as a new member of the club.

Southwest District members signed a pledge to stand up and speak out against domestic violence and sexual assault.
GFWC Ohio Southwest District met for an Information Day. Club members across the district received new information on programs. During the meeting members worked on a project to benefit Sexual Assault Victims. We will be collecting money for the next six weeks. If anyone is interested contact our club President Cindy.

Our club participated in the Madeira Street Dance offering raffle tickets for a wreath full of gift cards and lottery tickets, bags of peanuts for sale, and free bracelets for children. it was a great evening of fun.
Madeira Police Officer Lt. Roy picked the winning raffle winner at the Street Dance. Congratulations to Kathy!

Club members enjoyed a fun filled day at our GFWC Ohio Leadership Day in Dublin, Ohio. The theme for the day was celebrating America.
The club hosted a free children's craft booth at the Madeira Farmer's Market. Free bracelets promoting stop bullying with different savings were given out to all ages.
