The General Federation of Women's Clubs offers scholarships to women who have suffered domestic or sexual abuse. Click on the application form to complete or contact any club member for information. Applications must be filed by February 15, 2025. 

Application

October is for Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention and Breast Cancer Awareness.  The club arranged a floral and sign (with information) in front of Redden Meats on Miami Avenue.  If you are in an abusive relationship - get help!  A hotline help number is located on this page in the lower left hand side. Ladies, get your mammograms!

Club members volunteered at the Madeira Halloween Parade and Event popping corn and reading to children.  L-R:  Marlene, Mary Jo, Arlene, Pat, and Karen - Clare also attended.

Our club partnered with the Council on Aging to provide Bingocise for members and the community.  Exercise and nutrition in between games with prizes for winners!

GFWC encourages all women's clubs in the country to participate in a National Day of Service for Food Insecurity.  Our club partnered with the Madeira Police Department to collect non-perishable food items and financial donations to benefit the Madisonville Education and Assistance Center's food pantry.  The event was held at the Kroger store, Madeira.  Thank you to everyone (adults, children, even dogs!) who participated and donated.  We are grateful for your acts of kindness.
