Club members within the GFWC OH Southwest District gathered for a conference at Traditions, Madeira.  Congratulations to Clare Heinsler and Carol Christy voted as co-presidents for the 2026-2028 administration.  A representative from ProKids gave a presentation on how to step in to ensure the safety and wellbeing of foster children.  Donations were collected for ProKids. Currently, there are 3,500 children in Hamilton Cunty under foster care.  Our state representatives, GFWC OH President Esther Gartland, GFWC OH Jr Director Linda Jones, GFWC OH First Vice-President Barb Savarin presented valuable information and encouragement in all our clubs' projects.  A short walk around Traditions and collection was for St. Jude Children's Hospital.  Last but not least, lunch was provided by Pastizza, Madeira.  We thank them for donating yummy cannolis.  Please patronize this new Madeira business.

Our September General Meeting featured a delicious potluck dinner.  Featured speakers from Women Helping Women presented information on how they help victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault.  Afterwards members filled decorated candy jars for the teachers at the Madeira Middle School because our teachers are such sweet treats.

Our club sponsored a booth at the Madeira Vintage Baseball Game.  Club information along with water for people and dogs was provided by members.

An anonymous donor helped the club donate two corn hole sets for the veterans at the Joseph House for an outside activity.  One of the sets lights up.  If you would like to help or say thank you to a veteran check out the House's website:
