The 2024 scholarship application from the Madeira Woman's Club is now available for graduating high school seniors living in Madeira to download, complete, and send by to:

The application must be postmarked by March 15, 2024.

The club is awarding three scholarships this year:

​

     Nancy Klapproth Scholarship for $2,000.00 will be awarded for an applicant obtaining a four-year degree from an accredited college or university.

​

     Community College Scholarship in honor of Kimberly Capehart for $2,000.00 for an applicant planning on attending an accredited two-year community college or an accredited two-year career program.

​

     Jane Bavely Scholarship for $1,500.00 will be awarded for an applicant obtaining a four-year degree from the University of Cincinnati.

The GFWC Ohio Federation of Women's Clubs offers several scholarships to high school seniors who will be attending an accredited Ohio college or university.  You do not need to live in Madeira. Contact any club member for an application and more information.

Annette Phelps Lincoln Scholarship -  This scholarship is available to graduating high shool seniors to used in securing education in the Teaching or Library professions.

​

Art Scholarship - This scholarship is available to a graduating high school senior who will attend an accredited college, university or art shool in Ohio.  An original piece of art must be submitted when the application is submitted.  All artwork will be returned to the student.

​

Ethel G. Swanbeck Nursing Scholarship - This scholarship is available to a graduating high school senior pursuing a course in the study of an Allied Health Field.  The applicant may use the scholarship for a degree as a doctor, nurse, pharmacist, veterinarian, X-ray technician, laboratory technician, etc.

Elaine Weinman Memorial Scholarship - 

This scholarship is available to a graduating high school senior for use in securing an education beyond high school in the field of Communications, limited to radio, television, drama, speech or journalism from an accredited Ohio college, university or technical school.
